Our client is a traditional online brokerage company in Limassol. On their platform people are able to trade in more than 26 countries and they have access to 120 stocks worldwide. Clients can invest independently in shares, options, etc. The company offers a unique opportunity to participate in the building of a leading participant in a rapidly growing marketplace.
They are looking for a Portfolio Manager Assistant to join a team of Portfolio Managers in an analytical and administrative capacity. The administrative part will include monitoring investment portfolios, conducting ad hoc research and preparing material for investment reports. The opportunity exists for progression to a portfolio management role.
Responsibilities:
Generating an investment policy statement, outlining our client's investment objective
Constructing successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends
Buying and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy, or to reach an investment objective
Determining acceptable risk levels for clients based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations and market conditions
Maintaining new and existing client relationship, including informing clients of investment research and economic trends and to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives
Evaluating and performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with standards provided by regulatory organizations, including conformance with investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti-frauds measures
Prospecting for new clients
Staying up to date with relevant investment and trading news, and economic trends
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, economics or finance is an advantage
CySEC Basic/Advanced in AML test certifications
Detailed understanding of capital market
Exceptional analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages are considered as advantage
Highly organized and detail- oriented
The working hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday-Friday
